yearly trend of ADA related digital lawsuits sows a 23% increase in lawsuits in 2020 compared to 2019. This includes cases filed in federal court and those filed in California state court under the Unruh Civil Rights Act with a direct violation of the ADA. The chart shows 2314 cases filed in 2018. 2890 cases were filed in 2019. 3550 cases filed in 2020.

The UsableNet data and research team reviews thousands of  lawsuits in federal and state court that plaintiffs claim violate protections under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
