# The European Accessibility Act in Action: Practical Strategies for Compliance

**Recorded live Sept 17, 2025**

**Event Duration**: 60 minutes

**The EAA is now in effect.**
In July 2025, France issued its first enforcement notices under the European Accessibility Act, ordering companies to make their digital services accessible or face penalties. Across Europe, Member States are now empowered to issue fines, remove non-compliant products and services from the market, and act on complaints from consumers.
